Hamlet & Ghost

First time! We finally got to experience what everyone says is one of their favorites. Hamlet & Ghost lived up to expectations for sure. Every plate was smart & delicious. Best Caesar w/ tangy dressing & lemony white anchovies. Tempura mushrooms chewy & delicious. Steelhead tartare in a velvety lemon/ caper dressing. The most delicious steak in town / salted / seared/ sliced w blistered peppers & savory potatoes. And the best Old Fashion I’ve ever had. Thank you for a brilliant menu & execution. Can’t wait to sample more!

We came tonight for dinner and sat at the chef’s table. From drinks, to dinner, to staff - everything was amazing. Every drink was delicious and perfectly balanced. The meal was also delicious. The kitchen staff were meticulous. The front house staff were so kind and accommodating. Our waiter, Liam, was a delight and the owner even came over to check on us. As locals, this was our first time here but we will be back!

Wow! Finally had the chance to stop in for more than just a quick drink and Hamlet and Ghost absolutely lived up to my lofty expectations. The Gin Gin Fizz is delicious, you can tell the care the bartenders put into making each drink, and especially the work that goes into developing the drink menu. 2nd century cocktail was complex and intriguing. I had the lamb Gnocchi, again absolutely delicious, and a very solid portion for the price. Hopefully I'll be able to find time every time I'm in Saratoga, because the experience is well worth it.

My favorite spot to grab dinner in Saratoga. Cozy intimate settings are my favorite, but add the expertise of the mixologists creating delicious craft cocktails & the inspired kitchen staff with their rotation of impeccable seasonal dishes, and it’s a triple threat scenario. Pro-tip: try the gin-gin fizz & the banana pudding vibe dessert. I dream about them both at least once per week. Kudos always to this team!

This restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience, with its unassuming exterior belying the innovative and delightful cuisine served within. I eagerly anticipated indulging in the oysters topped with caviar and peppercorns, which turned out to be a sensation; we couldn't resist ordering 15 of them! The briny sweetness of the oysters was truly memorable. The mushroom tempura, when dipped in soy sauce, transformed into a culinary wonder, perfectly complementing our wine selection. Another highlight of the evening was the mussel with crab meat, boasting a luscious sauce that begged to be savored with the provided bread. It certainly left a lasting impression on my palate. The white asparagus with preserved truffle and sabayon sauce was a delicate delight, while the farm salad, adorned with bacon bits and blue cheese, added depth to our meal. The bluefin tuna with fermented peppers provided a refreshing interlude before the main course. Speaking of which, the grilled scallops with pancetta, sage, and leeks, served alongside cauliflower puree, were simply divine—I couldn't resist savoring every bite. The sweet and succulent scallops harmonized beautifully with the sauce. Equally impressive was the monkfish, tender and paired with a peri peri sauce that lent a unique flair to the dish. We rounded off our dinner with delightful ice cream, with the attentive waitstaff going the extra mile to accommodate our berry request, despite it not being on the menu. The chocolate mousse was a fitting conclusion to a memorable meal, accompanied by plenty of laughter and conversation, fueled by five bottles of wine. Whether dining as a group or solo, this restaurant offers an enjoyable experience, especially when seated near the chef's counter for a quieter atmosphere.

Had a fantastic dinner there this past weekend. They use very unique flavors and craft them in such a way that they are appetizing to a conventional pallet. I am a seasoned mixologists and the drinks were perfectly balanced with fresh ingredients. The dessert was remarkable, most restaurants phone it in when it comes to dessert but not them! Highly recommend

Relaxed, festive atmosphere. Attentive service. The mocktail with preserved huckleberry and lemon was really enjoyable but the star of the meal was the salmon dish. I order salmon frequently when I eat out but this was the best I can recall having. The cook on it was perfect - crispy outside and moist inside. Served with pineapple, sweet potato puree and a mole. Delicious.

I can’t say enough about Hamlet and Ghost and I am not an easy person to impress. The intimate lighting and stylish decor create an inviting space that feels both special and comfortable—perfect for a date night or a celebratory dinner with friends. The drinks were very good. Each cocktail is crafted with precision, utilizing fresh ingredients and innovative combinations. Whether you prefer something classic or are in the mood for a daring concoction, the skilled mixologists here have you covered. Each dish we ordered was not only a feast for the eyes but also an unforgettable experience for the taste buds. The ingredients are clearly sourced with care, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The chefs have managed to master the balance of flavor, texture, and presentation, making each dish a singular entity of culinary artistry. Impeccable service is another hallmark of Hamlet and Ghost.
